Im running 4.56 with 37s and do just fine but wouldnt mind 4.88/5.29 for the trail... but thats what duals are for

what vehicle would i be looking for at the jenk yard to find 4.56 gears in.that is what i think i would like to go to.how have outher people regeared and not shelled out allot of cash

4.88 90-95 4runner 3.0 V6 auto door code G144 or if you want I will sell you my 4.56 V6 3rds that way I could go to 4.88

Im running V6 3rds in my 81 as we speak
got them out of a 90 & 91 V6 5speed 4wd 4runner both 4cyl & V6 are 8"
