Rebuilding steering u-joints

Hi, everything in my steering is new and very solid exept the steering u-joints. When I move the steering back and forth I can hear a slight clunking noise and I can see it coming from the joints. Does anyone know where I can find the correct joints (part number or dimensions)? If I go to a driveshaft rebuilt shop can they do it for me or sell me the right joint so I can rebuild it myself? all inputs apreciated, thanks!

Red face

I think you mean replace not rebuild

Make some phone calls see if anyone close to you can replace them.

Enter your VIn on any of the online Toyota parts websites

The u-joints CAN be replaced - I replaced mine. I got the u-joints off of rock auto but I don't have the part number off hand. I can poke around my records to see if I can find them

thanks dave, if you could that would be great, but if not I'll do what wyoming says then cross reference the part number.

Toyota PN is 04371-10011, Beck Arnley 1020288 (but stamped GMB...). Also used in the driveshaft of 68-79 Corollas. RockAuto has them but they're in the Drivetrain section along with the other U-joints, not the Steering section.

Moroza got it!

I just checked RockAuto and I'm not seeing them listed in the drivetrain section anymore, but here is the description link:

https://www.rockauto.com/catalog/mor...php?pk=2586870

Google the part number with Beck Arnley, GMB or Toyota and I'm sure you'll stumble across somebody that has them in stock. You'll need two of them for the portion of the steering shaft that runs through the engine compartment. There is a third one up inside of the steering column that is different (I believe it is only in the tilt columns). I wasn't able to find that one, but it doesn't receive as much wear as the other two.

Here are some shots of mine:
