Oil in coolant but not head gasket???

Ok I did a timing cover and head gasket on my 22r, after I was done I noticed oil in the coolant (no coolant in oil) so I figured that my head gasket job got messed up so I redid it, and after that I have the same problem. I'm thinking the timing cover gasket did not seal but wouldn't this cause coolant in the oil as well? Thank you

Maybe not.

The oil could well be forced into the cooling system because the oil pressure is much higher than cooling system pressure is.
