Shifter and fenders
Been busy doing other things, but I gutted the interior, remounted the RADesigns "Rock" floor shifter and picked up a set of glass high clearance fenders. Luckily Krylon makes a paint that matches, well close enough especially after a coat of road film.

'bout time you joined up. Better have that thing ready when the snow flies.
Well since I did a trans swap I needed a way to control the A340, so I made a shift controller and a new floor shifter. The floor shifter is gated so I can go from any forward gear directly to reverse and back to forward, also allows be to move the shifter back to were I can reach it easier. The shift controller will be mounted between the seats somewhere easy to reach also. Trying to fit triple sticks and a shift controller all in there will be interesting. But I'm up for it.
The bulb holders I bought off of e-bay had a plate that I pop riveted to the housing. I used a hole saw to make a hole in the housing first.
Thanks for the compliment, that's the look I was going for 10 1/2" shorter. I wanted the bumper mounted right at the frame end, also trying to protect the shackles a little too.
looking back through this.... i gotta say this is the best bed bob i've seen. most guys take it so far back that the frame or shackles are hanging out past the tailgate, which i think looks horrible. the amount you cut makes it look functional and proportioned as if toyota made it that way. well done!

I was looking at my list, most of the stuff is done or in process. The half doors are still sitting in the corner, get to them in the spring maybe. Dual cases, with Marlin MC07R10 and V6 adapter to connect to the A340F are together and bolted up, and I'm working on transmission crossmember/skidplate as well as rebuilding the hole I cut in the floor to tuck stuff up a little. Still tons to do and the snow is coming, I can feel it in the air. Boogity-boogity-boogity let's go snow wheelin boys!
Also some more pics of the cargo rack. Still have to build the chainsaw mount, I have an old one that was on my bike from when we used to clean trails. I'll build one similiar to it, mostly because I know it works well. I plan on covering it all with a tube steel framed sheet metal lockable cover. Kinda like having a trunk huh!

More sick stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Still seems like I've got too much to do to get everything done by my deadline of Oct. 31.
So this weekend I got a good start on building a new crossmember/skid plate for the dual cases, also spent time getting the triple sticks brackets refined and making enough room for them since I wanted the t-case to sit as high as possible within reason.
Crossmember phase 1 on the bench, still plan on adding a plate arm from skid plate to bolt to brackets on the frame to help support the second t-case.
Pics of before and after the skid plate set in position.
Some pics of the triples and the gigatious hole in the floor.

Man there are some real craftsmen on this site. R.Des, I think it's funny that you put a pic up after a week and you are just like, "oh yea, I bobed the bed 10 1/2 inches. No big deal." But really dude great work. That skid plate you designed is awesome. Keep it up man. And keep the updates comin'

Maybe I missed something. And if I did please forgive me. What is the deal with the double shifter for the auto. I looks like they do similar things one is like a normal trans shifter and the other is just 1-4. Please enlighten me.

More!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Worked on getting the t-case crossmember/skid plate done. Here's the pics. It's mostly done, I just need to add one more plate to protect the drop of the t-case.

Grandpa helper
Pulled the box off to do some finish welding on gussets for the rear bumper and the 63" spring swap brackets.
Best part was having my granddaughter helping, the box still works as good for a playpen now as it did for her dad.
