MUST find head for '82 22R
Well, it's Mr. Annoying here again. Turns out my head is cracked!, and it would appear that I am up the proverbial stream of excrement without a propulsion device, as the only heads available from the builders I can find are those for '85 and newer.
Any suggestions? Reputable salvage suppliers or rebuilders with stock on hand? I gotta get this thing put back together for a major road trip to the east coast from New Mexico in a week and half.
Thanks all!

ebay....just under $450 shipped for a factory rebuilt head.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/81-84...Q5fAccessories
are you near a pull-a-part salvage yard.
you pull it for under $50,but you wont know the condition untill you get her on there.
id pull it,then rebuild before installing

I'm in Las Cruces, NM..
I've got one off a '82 that's in need of a rebuild. It's mechanically sound (and not cracked!) but needs cleaned up and new valves.
$50 and it's yours (Plus shipping if you don't want to pick it up).
