Finally doing the clutch

Finally doing the clutch-image.jpegI've got an 82 4x4 short bed and I've been babying the clutch for the last two weeks because haven't had the motivation to do. But I finally broke down and ordered a new clutch and flywheel from LC Engineering. I got the 30 lbs flywheel and the dual comp clutch. Took me about 7 hours start to finish ( was hoping to be done sooner but a lot trips to the fridge for beer since it was 100* out) I couldn't be happier with the products that LC supplied me. I also noticed that either the input shaft seal or the front plate has been starting to seep so I changed the seal and re-gasketed the front plate. I'm so glad we have this forum to look back on to refer to things cause I couldn't get the shift out until I searched here.

Glad to see you got it done. 6-7 hours is about normal for me as well. Great to see you found the information you needed.
