i know you can get the weber water manual or electric choke.. so maybe you can just order the piece you need?

Well, I'd really like to get it running sooner rather than later. Right now I'm already waiting on the replacement bracket for the power steering pump (the original one had snapped the ear off on one side, causing the belts to be all tweaked out in alignment), and I'd rather not have to wait too much longer for anything else.
Not to mention, I have no idea how to replace the electric choke with a manual one, and I really don't want to tear apart a perfectly working carb and screw it all up. I've heard too many horror stories about people jacking up their webers for me to want to join the statistics. ![]() I'll see about gettin some pics up on photobucket here shortly. |

I converted my 20r to a weber with electric choke its not hard. Just run a line that only just power when the engine is on. Better idea would be to splice into the power wire on your fuel pump. It just needs any 12v.
To check what the block is look down by where the oil dipstick goes into the block, itll be stamped on the block either 20r or 22r
