82 SR5 2wd

Anything about this year or make that is considered special? I have an 81 that I will be working on and could use some of the parts from the 82. I wanted to know before stripping parts off.

Also did the 81 yotas ever come with a bench seat? Can a bench seat work in the 1st gens?

OK.

1) most major parts from the 81 will convert to the '82, but don't expect much from the emissions control and carb as they are likely to be totally different. Heck Toyota couldn't hardly keep one system for an entire year in those days.

2) The SR5s all came with bucket seats I THINK. The bench was standard equipment at least in '81.
