Where did you get the rebuild kit from? The parts look awesome. Also, are you sure that your truck is a 81 with square lights? Mine has the old round ones.

Yeah you should totally go back to round headlights. That grill is stock for round headlight trucks, so you shouldn't have to swap anything out there. Looking nice!

Yes its an 81 i dont know why the guy before me switched to square headlights, i got the rebuild kit from a guy with a little 4x4 shop in Enumclaw, i cant think of the name of it off the top of my head. I dont have a clue about your body lift problem, my truck came with a 3 in. body lift and it dosnt have a boot on it atm.
did i miss sumthin? what prize? |

I don't know either, seems like some thread hijacking going on.
Some people like the square headlights better...can't say why. I sold mine from my '83 to 4x4Yota on this site and he switched his rounds over to squares. I did like the look of my truck with square headlights, but not half as much as I like the round look. Depending on what they did to your truck...you'll probably just have to find the headlight brackets to switch back. Getting the buckets would be nice, but you don't have those right now, so it depends on how much you want them.

ran up the hill to a buddys house for a bonfire and back home, she aint no cadilac but nuthin went wrong. the reason it wouldnt charge was cause the voltage regulater was fried, instead of gettin a new one i put in an alternater out of a cj and bi passed it (basicly a chevy one wire but cheeper )im stoked my buddy's 83 made mine look like a show truck
