it'll fit... but it doesn't look the same as the 4wd bed. one has flared fenders, one has flat.

yes ... but there are some differances ...

the wheel wells on a 2wd are not flared , and are only made for a 14" tire/wheel combo .. fuel filler is also a little different ..

i have a 81 2wd bed on my 82 4x4 still working on mounting the fenders.they fit right on in the groove that is there line right up. but im going to have to do some trimming in the wheel wells to make it look right once the fenders are on. dosent look to bad without them right now.i'm also rumnning 30 inch tires on 16" rims and havent touch them yet flexing it out.it bolted right onto the mount.used a engine hoist to change them out.tied a rope to the four corner hooks and hooked that to the hoist.worked great.

also got the bonus of the locking fuel door that came on the 2wd truck.i dont beleive the 4x4 had locking doors
there is also about a 1-2" difference in the bed height dosent exactly line up with the bottom of the cab but dosent seem to stick out mutch
