Not much done lately. I built the exhaust from 2 inch emt. I have found it to be just about the same size as the 2.25 inch exhaust pipe. No bending was needed because I used the emt 90's to make any change in direction. It took me about 6 hours to build. I am using a Hooker Aerochamber muffler.
Here are the pics. The bell housing has oil all over it from a spill I made. From the Headman header. ![]() Back to the muffler. The white stuff on the muffler is from the box that the muffler came in. Yes I need to clean that off. ![]() The muffler and the exit pipe. This took most of the bends as I had to go from the outlet of the muffler, around the shock and out from between the frame and rear left leaf spring. ![]() I came across a Holley 390 cfm carb pretty cheap. It needs to be rebuilt. I will be experimenting with both carbs. |

At this time I do not know. The truck is running but I do not have a seat in it or have it registered. I still need to install a set of 4.88 gears and 33 inch tires. I am in the process of building a flatbed for the truck. And last will be the interior and paint.
I am building a copy of Joe Chacon's flat bed. It should look close to this when done.
