I'm going to lengthen it .. but i'm only going 33's .. maybe 35's .. so it'll be fine .

why is it that toyota put that there? what purpose does that bar serve on an axle that gets used less than half of the time?

Helps to stabilize the axle. Both of the SA toyota I have owned wandered a little bit. Drove a friend's totally stock '85, the track bar seemed to actually help quite a bit..

Axle looks great. I wish I had torn mine down while I had the springs etc off...UPS just dropped off my axle rebuild stuff--great timing

drivability on road .. and spring wrap in 4WD .

this unit is basically a " stock type " mall princess ... i'm building it for my son's 16th B-day .. but he'll probabally get my old truck

thanks ... wish I could have taken more pics .

no , i'm going to stay with the original rears I think ? .. or I was thinking maybe rear disc brakes .... havent decided .

I was talking to a buddy that just did the fronts , and he has had no issues , no problems , and it stops much better the stock .. so I might just stay with those .
