Forget the dealer - check with local locksmiths. I found a complete set (ignition and 2 doors), brand-new in the package for $60.

Agreed. $350 is WAYYY over the top... probably $100 MAX...

Also, please don't call it a 'tumbler'. Its called an Ignition Cylinder. Thank you

OK, please see the edit: I remembered one of my door tumblers is basically shot so I ended up bidding on this auction. Yeah kind of a dickhead thing to do post some info and than delete it. Sorry..

Sked: My ignition tumbler is in good shape. If I win the auction I will send you mine. I think the post office has a flat rate box for like $8.50 I can send it to you if you pay the shipping. How does that sound?

That would be great I have new door locks but thiefs stole my tumbler and right now i just count on my kill switches. So its tricked them 2 times this summer but it looks goofy starting your truck with a screwdriver

Mine is the same key. I think they're just so old at this point that things have happened causing people to have to switch one out? Like the ignition going, so they put in a new ignition tumbler (I mean cylinder ) and didn't bother matching everything.

That was not the correct listing, the one you found was for "This set is from a 1985 Truck and will fit ALL years of Trucks from 1984 to 1988. All locks work great. These will also work in the 1984 to 1989 4Runner" That is a 2nd Gen Truck and 1st Gen 4Runner.

Sked:
Sorry, I was outbid by a buck
