Free bump, but I will input this:
I can get a good used WORKING 52" projection HDTV for $250 locally (several more in the 300-400 range), so $200 for a busted TV that no one knows what is wrong seems....high. Not trying to be a jerk, but much like many have helped me in pricing, so I am doing the same.

You're absolutely right. I'm not firm on $200, but I more or less just want to get a fractional return of what was spent on the TV.
It's one of those purchases that would be good for someone who has experience with TV repair and can turn around and make a profit on it.
