It has a 22RE and a manual tranny with 185,000 miles. The clutch is pretty high but still catches fine. 4WD works. Removable top doesn't leak. It needs rust repair around the gas door, rear wheel wells, and tailgate, along with some TLC. The frame is solid. It's my daily driver so I need to trade for something drivable. It's certainly not pretty. Interior has it's share of wear and tear, and mud stains. The hood is now primer and the sun visor is off, so no more orange. I'd say it's more of a running project, although I drive it at least 200+ miles a week.

I'm hesitant to let it go because I'm pretty attached, but I really miss driving a Volkswagen. I would gladly trade for one in decent running condition. I'm even willing to drive anywhere in New England as long as it's something worth my time/interest.

I would prefer one of the following, but all offers are welcome:
Passat - A 1990-1994 VR6 wagon is the car I'm really looking for, but I wouldn't mind a sedan. A 1995-1997 VR6 would do....
Scirocco
Rabbit
Jetta - Mk1, Mk2 Wolfsburg Edition or GLI, or Mk3 GLX VR6
Golf - Mk2 Wolfsburg Edition, or Mk3 VR6
Corrado
Rabbit Pickup
GTI
Quantum
Vanagon
Cabrio
Cabriolet
Audi A4, A6 or A8
Audi 80 or 90
Audi 100 or 200 - 1990 to 1994
Audi Coupé GT

Will consider all VW and Audi offers, even air cooled! Like I said, looks don't matter. If it's a piece of crap body wise I can always go with the rat look. I would possibly take lifted Jeep Cherokee or Wrangler, Suzuki Samurai or Toyota pickup offers too.
