For Trade: 1988 Pickup 3.0 LOW MILES!!!

I am debating on trading off my 1988 Toyota Pickup for a second generation 4Runner...

My truck has LESS THAN 80K on the clock. 3.0 V6 runs strong w/ 5 speed manual. 4x4 works like it's supposed to. It has a 2" body lift with 32" Kuhmo Mud Terrains. The paint on the truck is flaking in some spots that were not properly scuffed by the previous owner when he painted it. The cab, floors, fenders, hood and tailgate are SOLID. The bed is starting to show some holes around the rear wheel wells. The frame is showing some surface rust, but doesn't seem too bad. Has started reliably for me every time. The engine has started to develope a little oil leak within the last two monthes, I'm thinking a valve cover gasket. When I say a little oil leak, I mean maybe two quarter sized drops on the floor of my garage since I've had it (Early 2008). The muffler has rotted out pretty bad and should probably be replaced at some point.

What I am looking for is a second generation 4Runner w/ decent miles (150K-ish). I don't care about auto or manual trans. I ask that it be a strong runner with minimal (none prefered) fluid leakage. I would like the body to be in fairly good shape w/ minimal rusting if possible. I want the four wheel drive to work and for the interior to be in fair shape.

This truck is a standard cab and I need something that can allow for child seats. I have come to enjoy the reliablility of these little trucks and would like to continue using them.

I am located in NW Indiana, about 60 miles southeast of Chicago.

PM me for photos or call me at 219-671-8429.
