FS/FT 1996 Ford Mustang Cobra

I have a 1996 Mustang Cobra for sale. I absolutely love the car, but it is not practical anymore as a daily driver, and finances don't allow me to have two vehicles, so it needs to go. The car is #1219 out of 2000 made with the Mystic paint option. I'm the fourth owner, the third was my brother. In total we've had the car for 5 years, absolutely no mechanical problems, just routine maintenance. The car currently has 129k miles, but is my daily driver so that will increase. The car is in good condition, a few small scratches as should be expected on a car of this age. This past summer the hood and both the front and rear bumpers were repainted at the Ford dealer in Russellville, AR. The dealer offers a lifetime warranty on the work. The clear coat on both bumpers had started to peel, so I decided to have them repainted. The hood had several small rock chips, so I had it painted as well. The interior is in good overall shape, I don't have any pictures of it, but they can be taken upon request. I just had a full tune up done earlier this week, so the car is ready to go. The car actually gets pretty good gas mileage, the worst I've gotten was 18, best of 27, average of 22 mpg with mixed highway and city driving. Since it is a collectors car, I have done only a few mods, and I still have most of the stock parts that will go with the car. Here is a list of mods, I think it is everything.
H&R sports
Bilsteins
MM c/c plates
King Cobra clutch
FRPP 3.73's
MGW Shifter
80mm Pro-M mass air meter
9mm FRPP wires
Mac underdrive pullies
Flowmasters
Mac o/r H-pipe
S.S. bumper inserts
Smoked Headlights

I'm asking $8500. I'm not forced to sell, so I'm not giving the car away. The market isn't good right now, but I'm also willing to sit on this as long as it takes, because I really don't want to part with it, but the time has come. Feel free to PM me here or e-mail me at beatty_preston@yahoo.com. As far as trades, it would have to be a 01-04 Tacoma Double Cab in good shape, preferably close to stock, and I would also be willing to add cash. Thanks for looking!

Is it the SVT? or just the cobra?
My uncle has a '95 SVT and the sucker ran like a bat out of hell.

No new whips for me though...
Sorry.

The Cobras are an SVT vehicle, so all Cobras (atleast newer models, not older Shelbys) are SVT's.

Would you consider delivering 60 miles north of Dallas? Do you have any interior and underside pics? Not just asking, I have 4 Mustangs, and depending on my insurance policy, I will consider another.

I have plenty of interior pics on my computer, no under body shos though (too dang ard to get under there. i also have a pic of the dyno sheet. ill load the pics and post a link tonight, im on my phone right now. Id consider delivering' may be headed to either Mansfield or Plano to look at some trucks. I'll go ahead and say it, it will take 8k to get tis car. Ive put much more than that in it, and ill keep it before i let it go for under 8k. Thanks for the comments, and ill get some more pics up asap.

Car looks pretty clean. Do you by any chance still have all of the factory parts? I havent had a chance to run it by the wife yet, I am looking for one for her. She is driving a 92 GT now (not a daily driver), wants one your body style also.

Sounds good! I just looked, all 3 of the Tacomas I was looking at in the Dallas/Fort Worth area have sold (just my luck), so not sure what we can do about delivery, but if you're interested let me know and we'll work something out. Thanks!

Pictures dont do this car justice. I had it for 4 years and absolutely hated to sell it, but starting a family and needing something to hunt/fish/pay in I got a T4R. The car sounds amazing, and runs very strong. Bump for ya bro.
