Arrow FS: 2001 Toyota 4Runner, 4x4, V6, automatic, PICS!

****************$7,500 OBO****************

Whatsup guys, I'm trying to sell my 4Runner since I just bought a new fullsize pick up. I got recommended to this site from someone over at dezertrangers.com. Hopefully someone on here could use this vehicle. Thanks for letting me post up on these forums so easily! Onto the description now...

This 4runner has been nothing but good to me. It has run strong ever since I got it from my dad when it had 17k miles on it. Now it has 103,061 but it’s running just like the day I first got it! Toyota makes one hell of a truck because I have never had a problem bigger than the alternator going out the entire time I’ve owned it. Rain, snow or sand this 4runner will get you through it and to your destination every time.

The 4x4 works very well. It has the 3.4 liter v6 motor. I just had the car aligned and it runs straight as an arrow as fast as you need to go on the freeway.

Brand new tires and brakes were just installed a couple weeks ago. I have all the receipts and paperwork from the cars maintenance history available and for the buyer to keep. The oil has been changed on a regular 3k mile basis and the car has been cared for pretty well over the years. There are some dings and nicks from normal wear and tear over the last 5 years I’ve had it. But there are no major damages that in any way hinder the performance of the vehicle.

The back tailgate and front bumper have small dents that can be repaired very easily. I was always planning on fixing these blemishes but just never found the time for some reason. They are so small that you don’t even notice them after a while. But if you were to get them fixed, I’m sure it wouldn’t cost more than a couple hundred dollars and then the 4Runner would be looking brand new again.

It is equipped with a tow package and a 4 pin brake light connector. It accepts a full-size tow hitch and carries a 12x6 single axle enclosed trailer very easily. I only did this twice with the car but both times it was a breeze to drive with no issues and no lack of power at all even on the up-hills.

This 4runner also has all the power options available. Power door locks, windows, mirrors, and the back tailgate window also drops all the way down by using the button on the dash or the button on the remote.

The key fob is included and does work for unlocking, locking, and setting off the panic alarm. The air conditioner blows cold and the whole AC system was gone through and tuned up back around 90k miles since there was a leak and it stopped working for a short period of time. Ever since it was fixed it has been blowing colder than ever!

AM/FM/CD player is installed. The stock system actually sounds very nice; I believe it was the premier package from Toyota at the time since it has the separate tweeters in the A-pillars. Single disc CD player works very well but the radio does not pick up any stations since the antenna wire snapped inside its tube. This is a quick $10 fix but once again, I just never got around to pulling the old antenna out and putting a new one back in since I just listened to CD’s or my iPod through the tape player all the time.

The car also has aftermarket wheels installed instead of the ugly stock Toyota rims. They are made by American Racing and are the Outlaw II models. A little weather worn, but with a fresh polishing or powder coating these wheels would look brand new.

Brand new battery from Kragen just installed as well. I ran an Optima yellow top battery in it while I drove it. I took that battery and put it in my new truck so the 4runner got a brand new standard type liquid battery with a fresh charge. Starts up every time with no hesitation whatsoever.

The interior is in good condition. No rips or tears in any of the tan cloth upholstery. There are a couple stains from setting things like detergent on the seat over the years, but I’m sure they can be shampooed out if you put some elbow grease into it. All interior lighting works and the seats are very roomy. You are not cramped up like the back seat of a midsized pickup truck which is nice. Traveling with 5 people is not a problem at all. The truck holds everyone’s belongings and if you need room for larger bags the roof racks can hold another couple hundred pounds.

The back seat also folds down for larger items. You just pull up the 2 back chairs, fold the backs down, and that turns into a very flat and large surface.

I think that about covers everything on the 4runner. It comes with a transferrable 3 year alignment package at Express Tire. That came with the new tires and brakes I just had installed so the buyer of this car lucked out I don’t even have that on my new truck. If you have any questions please email me at evan@4130clothing.com and I will do my best to get back to you as soon as I can.

The car is located in San Marcos, California. That’s a north county suburb of San Diego. I am not willing to drive the car anywhere to meet you so you can check it out. If you want to view the car, email me and set up a time to come by and look at it at my house. If you seem like a trustworthy person that is genuinely interested in purchasing this 4runner I’ll let you take it for a test drive. You won’t be disappointed with this car. I’m not getting rid of it because there’s anything wrong with it at all. I just got a larger full size truck that I needed for work so this 4runner has got to go! It’ll be a sad day to see her pulling away.

I’m looking to get $7,500 for the car. I feel that this is fair compared to the other 2001 4runners that are being offered on the market for several thousand more but with fewer options on the vehicle and in worse condition. I am willing to negotiate on the price but you better have a good reason as to why. No low ballers and no trades will be accepted!

Thank you for looking.
