Unless it comes with a hot scantily clad female in the passenger seat what it appraises for and what it sells for are 2 very different things. No financial institution will loan you the money for it and no insurance company wil insure it for that much under a normal policy. Some DA pays you that much for it then good for you but I don't buy the smack you are talking.

Do we really need used car salesman trolling Yotatech peddling this kind of stuff?

And why won't you post pictures? Someone get them and host them up. I want to see this $10k+ 85 4Runner.

The bottom line is for the price you are asking it is not a practicle vehcile, insurance would never back the truck for that apprasal amount. Therefore it is destined to end up a dust collector in someones garage, and most of the people on this site like to use, abuse and enjoy there trucks.

Nice truck. Sure. Pretty new paint job and some spit and polish. Yeah. $12k worth.

Who cares if it has 55K original miles. That truck is worth $5k tops to the right person and if you try and get a bank to go higher to finance it they are going to laugh at you. Full coverage insurance to cover what you pay for it, good luck.

My 85 ext cab was valued by my insurance company at $1100 replacement value and it is in excellent shape for a 23 year old truck with 200K miles on it.

Take that 4" crappo lift off of it and the aluminum rims with the POS Warn hubs and it would be worth a lot more.

I would have thought a used car salesman would be more internet suave.

Looks fresh, for sure. Unless there's bricks of weed stuffed in the tires and gas tank, I still don't see it being worth more than 5-5.5K. Hope it sells for you.

i'd give him $6k US. Its worth that much i know, with those low miles maybe up to 7k. g/l with your sale, Its a nice truck!

Seriously though, if it was white color and more stock, i would give you 7.5 no questions.

Good luck with the sale. __________________ 1985- 22rec w/ 113,000 original miles, Marlin tie rod w/ LC TRE, Downey Cantilever Shackles, Black rims on 31in rubber, POR15 frame+ quarters+wheel wells, recycled door post and rocker panel (welded on). Fresh paint. Rebuilt front axle, pinion seal, head gasket and timing chain. Need some new springs...
