Hello, I am selling the Honda 2000 VFR Interceptor 800 for my Dad. He isn't so good at using computers. This bike is very well taken care it has been very much babied. This bike is a Two riders package coming with two helmets two jackets and a seat for two riders the includes a removable back rest, also removable handles for the second rider. A new Two Brothers Racing Carbon muffler. And a Saddle bag. Plus the Summer rider jacket.

It was my Dads dream to have a bike like this since he was a kid. Unfortunately he does not have the time to enjoy riding it, and spends most of the time with us boating out on the lake. This bike is completely Turn-Key ready to go. We are hoping this bike will go to a good home with a responsible rider.

Looks like a sweet package... I'm sure someone will grab it... some folks are going to want to know the size of the jacket(s) and helmets I'll bet...

Yellow jacket is a large
the other two jackets are both mediums

Both helmets are also medium size.

If your two far just fly out and drive it home. It drives smooth as butter

Update Some new pics

Well that rules me out lol I take an xlarge-xxlarge helmet and a xlarge jacket... it all good though I'm looking more for a cruiser style like a Shadow650 then a rice rocket like the Interceptor... good looking bike though

this isn't much of a rice rocket haha it's a really clean bike
if you get your own gear and fly out here and ride it home i'll see if dad will let it go for 5,500 does that interest you

this bike has gear driven cams engine proven to handle well over 100,000 miles

FWIW, I have the '01 Interceptor (exactly the same, only red). Awesome all-around bike.

jfyi, six large might be a bit much, even with the extra goodies.

I bought my '01 five years ago, near-showroom-condition (one-owner, babied, 24k miles, never dropped, no dings/scratches). I paid $5000 for it. I've seen other cherry 2001s sell for about this ballpark afterwards, so my deal wasn't that much of a fluke.

2001 models are quite popular as it was the last year before the VTEC BS that lots of riders have complained about. Your 2000 model is mechanically identical, but there's something about "the last year of a generation" that makes people all giggly.

It's still "wet season" for a lot of the country.

Hang tight, folks will start jonesing for a 2wheeler as it dries up.

I have a $2k refund coming, how desperate is your father?

(I could always use a yeller VFR, would make a nice "skittles" look in my garage)

I'll post it up on Customfighters for you. I don't know if anybody's gonna fork over 6k to strip & rip a viffer, but who knows. Maybe somebody knows somebody who's looking. Stranger things have happened.

If you're not already on CL, give that a try. bikes come and go from there in a day where I live. Of course, fuel costs being lower than they were last summer, I don't think the bike boom will be as big. I'm sure the "get me outta this gas guzzler" effect won't be as strong, and prices are going to adjust to the low side. Then again, if it's paid for, it's not costing you any money sitting in your garage waiting for a satisfactory offer.

I'll be trying to move a bike of my own this summer, best of luck to you.
