New LC Engineering Header- 22REC

I bought this header fror my 86 4x4 as part of a long, long project that never came to life.

I bolted the header to the motor, but never got the engine started so I believe it is still considered new. I paid $385, but really need the money... I'll take $300.

C'mon... any takers.

I am in the beginning stages of parting out this truck. There are tons of new parts on the truck, and all of the body parts except for the driver-side fender is straight. I am located in Long Beach, Ca.

If anyone has any other good sites that I can list parts on, please let me know.

Thanks.

Its just the header and the pipe to the cat. The one with the hole for the o2 sensor. I will post some pics tomorrow morning when I get home.

dangit Ricky, I take it you are in the market for some headers too, huh?

Where is the O2 sensor on your 89? My 87 is up high on the stock manifold, its the only thing geeking me out about a downey or LCE vs. bucking up for a Thorley.

Yeah I need one. I've done the Supra VMAF already and replaced a clogged/busted muffler and am now in the market for a header. I just don't want to pay for a new one if I can help it.

edit. I think my O2 sensor is down a little ways, almost to the cat.

edit again. I just looked at the Thorley and the one listed for my rig is 827$...........

WHAT?? Dude, that one says 3.0L. For some reason on their site they don't list the 22re when you enter in 1989.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/DTE-542Y-SO/

Pretty sure that one would work for ya!

That one there doesn't look too bad although there isn't a spot for the damn O2 sensor. I looked on the Baja site and the header kit they sell (the one that is the same as Downey's) looks to come with all the gaskets/studs/pipe and the bung for the O2 thingy. If I could buy just that bolt on bung then I'd buy the Downey Header that is listed in the classifieds and be good to go.

I'll keep doing some looking and see if I can't piece this thing together.

The part number with an "SO" in the code have O2 sensor spot, as well as accommodations for smog fittings, so that must be a pic for a 22r header. I need just the "o" code, no smog fittings. And it costs more? I don't get it. And on Summit, the ceramic costs more then the chrome?
