Long story short I bought it brand new (some things are

still brand new in box), installed it and tuned it, during

tuning i had an oil leak from where i "T'd" off my oil

pressure sensor for the turbo's oil supply. the T i used was

some brass fittings from autozone, and i must have

overtightend and brass beind soft this caused it too leak,

its located behing the header which is a pain to get to

unless you remove the whole assemble, which i did 3

times trying to "fix" the problem instead of replacing it

with a better T. I got tired of it and just took it off and

kept it off, Forced Induction is expensive!! I had money

saved up at the time when i purchased everything then i

realized there's better things i can do with that

money.....house payments, i have an 8month old

daughter...ect. The kit has a fitting for the 2rz motor that

screws in just above the oil filter, I didn't want to wait for

LCE to send me the right hardware so i did some research

and some people used the oil pressure sensor. The turbo

kit was fun and easy to install but thats if you know what

your doing, I didn't at first so it was a learning experiance.

My wife hated it cause that's all I did. Oh BTW I also left

part of my wire harness laying across the turbo and melted

all my wires shorting out my distributor, I spent an

additional $600 for all new ignition parts!! My wife was

pissed!! So much for keeping this short, sorry bout that!

Sorry you had so much trouble. I turboed my truck without too many issues. I used the oil pressure sensor for the turbo oil pickup. I did not buy LCE kit as it is way over priced. I did get my sds from them. By making my own kit I saved myself about $2000 I should think. Good luck with the sale. Does it use the steed speed manifold.

I'll be honest with you I'm not too sure what kind of manifold it is other than a stainless steel, tig welded.

I guess if I don't sell it I will have to put it back on eventually!!

How did you T off your oil pressure sensor? any pics?

I think I have some somewhere but ill have to find them. Just used some copper fittings and t'd off the oil pressure sensor port. The oil line kit I got came with the fittings. Check ebay for line kits or do a search on yahoo or something. There is a thread out there where a guy turboes his celica and does the same thing with his oil lines. If I can find the pics I will post them up for sure. Or I can always tak a few.
