Snap-on Heritage Series?

Hey all, Christmas is coming up, and a new tool box is going to be sitting under my tree! Just a quick question though, I currently have a craftsman roll cab and top chest, and it pretty much just sucks. So, I have been looking at the snap-on heritage series, basically because they have a 7 drawer model that I like very much, but I am just wondering on the build quality compared to the other snap-on lines? Is the quality the same, just the Classic and Masters series have more luxurious features? It's a pretty expensive box, so if there is such a major difference I will get a bigger Classic series and spend a little more rather than having to get a new one later. Any input is appreciated.

Just get the Classic series and get it over with that way you don't have to try and unload the other one when you figure out you would have been better off buying in the first place.

I'm sorry I don't know much about these snap-on boxes.....but are the Classic's built that much better than the Heritage series? I do plan on using this box close to the rest of my life(going to auto school), so quality really does count in this situation. Thanks for the help!

get the classic 96 its the 3 bay box thats what i have at work and its a lot of room for the price compared to the others and theres more room than the heritage and yes it is a very good quality plus if something does break on it it should have a lifetime warr.

I have the same thing as well. You cant beat if for the price of other snap on boxes.

I'm sorry guys, I'm still a little confused, tell me if I am right. So the Heritage series is snap-on's kind of discount box series, and not built as well as the classic series?

The main differences between the series is box depth. They are all built very strong, some designed stronger but to be honest I can not tell the difference really. The heritage series is just as good as the classic series. Look and the dimensions of each series and you will see that is the main difference for all of them.

I just ordered a KRA 2407, among a lot of other tools from them. That's the 36x24x40-something" classic model. like james said the main difference, from what I can tell, is the dimensions.

btw I am also in auto school. Are you getting as good of a discount? ~50%?

Still in high school right now, but my tools are just laying around and I need a box bad. I plan on going to a college about 20 minutes away and getting a business degree(I want to learn about business, because I want to own my own someday!) and after that go to auto school. I know I can save 50% if I wait 4 years, but I need it now, ya know? Where are you currently attending? I'm trying to decide on a good auto school. Oh and also, cash isn't a factor as of now, 40 hour weeks plus school on top of that sucks, but pays very well(waking up at 4:00 to feed calves every morning for some tools......what am I thinking? )

I'm at a community college. It's not the best program but my instructor knows a lot. I had a couple of business classes but that stuff was pretty boring. nice looking rig too.

the box i mentioned seems like it has a good amount of storage and it's one of their cheaper cabs i think.
check it out
