need bench vise
hello all
just got done busting my (rather cheaply made but very durable) combination bench vise. it was small and cast so i'm surprised it lasted this long. anyhow, looking for a replacement but not sure where to go/what to get. i stopped by sears and they seemed to have some nice heavy duty vises but all made in china (the reviews are mostly mixed) and i took a quick look at harbor freight (cheap looking as always but the reviews are decidedly negative). any recommendations?

yeah, keeping an ear to CL for sure.
wilton's look nice but too pricey for me right now.
what was i doing? i was trying to create a slightly larger opening inside of a chain link that is apparently a lot tougher than my former vise (but not tougher than my sledge hammer). i tightened one 1/4 turn too much i guess...
