My buddy Shane has already laid claim to it. When the motor runs on the old one it sounds like it is going to lift off. Going to get a pancake one to run separately with my powder coating.

This one will go in the office corner (clean room) hook up an auto drain, nice dryer with dessicant and run the line out the shop and to a drop hose in the ceiling right in the middle of the shop to reach anywhere. Never need more than one at a time (rarely) so I'm not going to plumb the whole shop.

Got the high cfm mainly to run the blast cabinet. The old one did everything else just fine, but it ran all the time and was noisy. This one is quiet and pushes three times the cfm and twice the capacity. More than enough for me...and did I mention it was FREE.

Craftsman 33 gal 6.4 cfm @ 90 psi
It has served me well for a long time. Portable and handled air tools fine but couldn't keep up wth the blast cabinet.
IR is 60 gal and 18.? cfm @ 90 psi so lots more to work with when needed

Best part is it was completely FREE. All I got to buy is a regulator/filter and a auto drain kit and its done. I already got plenty of hose and a reel hose so just a matter of mounting it all up. Going to put the compressor in the office to keep it clean and no noise from it in the shop area.

Should get it installed this week/weekend whenever my electrician bud has time.

Im sure I will be needlessly blasting things all weekend when its functional.
