Leaky floor jack

10+yr. old 2 1/4 floor jack is leaking at the piston, I pulled it and it looks like flat sided seals in the bore. Are these just smashed O rings I can dig out and replace or are they special hydraulic shop stuff? I think its a Chinese jack, its labeled Indy 5.

No they should be o rings that might be worn but if it is China inc no telling what might be in there.

If it is 10 plus years perhaps time to think of a new one.

I paid about $150.00 to have a 3 ton jack rebuilt this spring to give you an idea.

Without the parts dimensions I wasn`t about to try and do it myself it is me or my vehicles that could be broke if it failed at the wrong time

X2 on buying new one.
Using jack stands in conjunction with this thing?
