Keep it you never know when you need and you will find use's for it
Sell it and soon as you do you will need it and kick yourself in the ass for selling it

Keep find a use for it and get good at using it. It has the potential to make you more $ or save you more $ than what you'll get selling it.

If you do any metal fabrication definitely keep it. It won't be a very commonly used tool, but when you do need it, you got it!

i do quite a bit of metal fab .. more for the "sport compact" market than truck/offroad type stuff right now, but the problem is my home collection is lacking a TIG welder, and i'm thinking the sale of the lathe would go a good ways towards a used TIG purchase. I know it would be handy to have on hand for other projects, and most importantly i know i'll be pissed when i go to buy one again later and can't get near the deal i did on this one.
Oh and if anybody from the board is looking for some hand tool type stuff ... http://www.mostdesigns.com/zgallery/...ay-items/Tools that shows almost everything i just picked up .... some of the stuff is staying in my collection for either home or "work" when i find somewhere to go back to, but i'm open to offers on a lot of the stuff.

yeah it worked out pretty well for me! The only real downside is 90% of the stuff is all SAE, which on one hand is good since i had for more metric than fractional stuff, but on the other hand i had the metric stuff for a reason. At least now i can send my dad some stuff to help make up for all the tools i lost of his as a kid, and then borrowed and wore out as an adult.

Keep the lathe, I use one everytime I think up stuff for my truck. The first thing that came to my mind was how useful it was when I made my steering arms, many years ago. Make billet knobs for shifter and sell them.

It all depends on if the bed and swing are big enough to really do what you want .
If the swing is big enough you can cut brake drums and rotors. one of those things you can`t think of things to do but once you start using it you will wonder how you did without for so long.
