affordable bender

i was wondering if anyone has used or has an affordable bender tube bender. i'm looking to get a bender on the cheap and i like the fact you don't bolt this style to the floor. but not wasting the money if its just gonna kink and crap out. any thought or info......???

The affordable bender only comes with dies with 7" radius for 1-1/2 and 1-3/4 and only good for up to .095 DOM tube. not gonna look so good when you have to find another bender to bend a .120 wall cage or a .250 wall tube or a tighter radius.

I have it, and did use it to bend 1-3/4 .120 tubing. Worked well with no issues and it was not difficult.

I wish it did include more dies. I need to order the 1" die for another one of my crazy ideas. I forget how much additional dies are, but if you plan to bend more than a few sizes you are quickly at the price point of more expensive, and more inclusive benders.

Perfect for the home craftsman and weekend bender. Ahhhh yes, the 'weekend bender'. I haven't had a good one of those since Vegas

Good luck.

i take it you saw the guy on youtube do that? haha it works i just think that would be a pain in the tail but if your willing to do that go for it. i think i would live with the kinks before filling every tube with the sand.

i dont think .120 will be a problem im getting ready to do a cage out of 1 1/2 X .120. i did modify my bender by putting 2 springs on either side of the die to pull the die and ram down after the bend is made. but i have faith that it will bend anything if you take your time and pay attention to what the steal is doing.
