Trail gear's 3 inch spacers

I just got my wheel spacers in the mail the other day and could not wait to put them on. I ordered the 3inch wheel spacers not sure what i was getting into if my wheels were going to stick out to far. They went on smooth with very little problems. I have posted some pics below. Just be sure to to torque them to corrected specs. around 100 pounds they said.

Did you have to do that to run newer wheels like 17s?

Do you have to get an alignment after installing something like this?
