Toytec lifts 2" lift kit for 85 -94
I felt compelled to write and share my Toytec lift experience with the forum. First, when ordering this lift I had a few questions about the kit. I wanted to know if the kit would level out my pickup. My leaf springs in were sagging and I wasnt sure if I needed an inch more lift in the back to fix this. Second, I didnt want too much lift, only enough to beef it up a bit and be able to fit my new 32 x 10.50 SuperSwamper TSL's. I alson needed to change the rear shocks but not the front. The sales person at Toytec was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and told me the lift would level out the truck and everything would fit.
I received the lift via UPS with in a week and I was ready to rock. The leaf inserts, front spacers and bolts were all well machined and the instructions were straight forward. I set up shop and began to get to work. At the onset I had a few problems with freeing the U bolts which were rusted to #^%$*@^@. When everything came apart I installed the rear leafs and the front spacers (a little cutting is required) and torqued to specs. The kit was very user friendly and very easy to install. The whole job took an afternoon and would have been cut in half by 3 hours if I had an impact gun. I was so impressed with the lift and the easy of installation I called Toytech to thank them. If you want a minor but great looking and easy to install lift I would HIGHLY recommend this kit. After install it is mandatory you get an allingment. My pickup is in a paint process as of late and I will post a few before and after pics in the future. The lift was EXACTLY what I was after. ![]()

I ve read that if a BJ spacer is 1.5 inches or more it will cause future problems to the front suspension? How is your toytec lift handling? I checked out their website it seems like a good kit.
