NWOR 1st gen disco's
OK, before the flame suit comes on for using NWOR. They had what I wanted in stock at a price I agreed with. and it only took 4 days to get it!
I purchased their sway bar disco kit for stock to 2" lift (pics later) They are easy to install and fairly easy to release via 2 pins per side and a removable sleave ( I keep a pry bay in my rig to make it easier ) . The kit comes with new red poly bushings for the sway bar to frame brackets and the end links too. When I disconect them I use a heavy zip tie (cable tie) to hold the sway bar out of the way to the frame. I did notice decreased body roll over stock and definitly decreased roll over not using one at all. <<<<--- all good ---->>> the bad. I notice a popping under slow speed turns as the sleeve slips about .5mm due to a little slack in the release pins. Does not affect performance and the radio volume knob, fixes it quite well.. I thought about running without a sway bar all together, but my kids ride in the truck and highway speed lane changes to avoid idiots may result in problems. Not a risk I'm willing to take with my children or someone elses family. final thought: For 80.00ish dollars I feel its worth it from the safety stand point. plus it helps when I'm slalom racing! ![]()
