Microlon Fuel and engine treatment

If you haven't ever heard of this product for your new vehicles you should take a few short minutes and look them up. www.microlon.com We have used this product in our last 2 vehicles a 92 4Runner SR5 and our 94 Acura Integra...the 4Runner was just traded in on a new 05 and had 178k miles with NO engine related failures and the Acura is still running STRONG with 238k miles and NO engine related failures. For the money this product out performs all the wanna be engine treatments and it's a 1 time for the life of the vehicle treatment. This product was devleoped for the military, aircraft and marine industries...check it out it's well worth the investment.

Toyota and Honda engines will go that far with regular changes of dino oil. Most of the people here use synthetic so they have no need for snake oil.

Very true and I use synth oil as well on all our vehicles...this is not a oil additive...it treats the metal wearing and bearing surfaces in your engine and allows for less friction. It saved our 92 4Runner when as they do BLOW head gaskets (recalled for warranty repair) we drove approx 30 miles until there was no more water in the engine at all. There was no damage to the heads or the block (warping) etc. So for $100.00 I'll keep using it.

seems like snake oil to me...Why use something in an engine that can easily get 200k miles to begin with?

How does this work anyway? Is it some sort of resin that hardens? Link bondo?

Another thing...this stuff fills the metal? What about the cross hatching which helps hold oil on the cylinder walls. Does it delete those?...seems kinda scarey to me...

Microlon has certainly had issues with the Federal Trade Commission. Google it.

Seems to me he's just advertising this product since he has hardly any posts at all. Why would your first post on a forum like this be to promote a product?

you should add gear oil to your engine... will help the engine warm up faster as it will have to work harder to move the oil

Guys, this is a neighbor of mine that just got a 2005 4Runner. I told him about this forum and how great it was and to sign up.

He's told me about this product that he uses in every new vehicle and he swears by it. Be nice.

Jason - Sorry, man, but it just seemed kinda weird that a guy with that few posts is pimping a product like that. 9 times out of 10 it's spam, I guess this time it was legit. If J. Burtman vouches for the guy then so do I.

Never heard of the stuff though...
