Hella 500FF

I just purchased a new set of Hella 500FF

FF stands for the Free Formed reflector that is used to disperse the light instead of the glass in the originals

I Knew that there where a few members who where asking about them a while back so here is the review

I have the originals Hella 500 driving lights to compare these lights too.

Comparing them to the originals that are made in Germany and the Hella FF where made in Taiwan From this I belive the quality suffered only slightly not much and I could be being very picky.

One of my main disappiontments of mine was that the 500FF did not have the blue Hella sticker in the middle of the lenses .

All the brackets and wiring harness where the same as the originals. The switch was slightly different being green not the dark gray/black in the original Kit. Also the light covers where not the same as the originals.

As far as light output they produce a much cleaner light then the originals and project usable light further down the the road/trail and I am more then happy with that part of them.

So overall I am very happy with them and would tell everybody that they are a good buy.
