I don't care to start another thread about it, but add to that list Duralast U-Joints.
I bought one and not only was the construction cheap and the design flawed, it didn't even fit perfectly in my driveshaft. So in the scrap heap it resides.
Stupid POS had a zerk fitting on it that was located in a position which wouldn't allow for a grease gun to even reach it. Without removing 2 of the end caps, which meant no lubing it while it was installed. Great engineering!

Well hell, this is good to know, I bought a set of the duralast wires a couple weeks ago but never installed them. Guess I'm going to have to find the receipt so I can return them...

I use NGK Part # 4416 $34 from www.rockauto.com They work great.
U can also get 8mm wires from Magnecor but they are a bit spendy at $95

Interesting. Just out of curiousity, what was the problem you were experiencing with the duralast plug wires? My truck came with a set on it, and i feel they didn't seem to fit very snugly on the spark plugs...banana

Yazaki, denso, or ngk (in that order).... the ONLY way to go
O...and the u-joints, dont use duralast or the cheapo "brute force" u-joints from v.i.p...
Basically any part that preforms an important role... dont use cheap parts...

Sparkplugs.com and other quality shops are the only parts i use. I try to premptively changed parts so i dont have to shop at Auto "Fruitin Jello" Zone.
Maybe it is time we start compiling folks Autozone parts complaints and start a PR campaign?
