First off, I had problems from the beginning with my input steering shaft seals going out on me after I put on my 2" body lift on my 90 4wd truck. The original went out right away with only some light off-roading, so I bought a used at a local junk yard & it went out lickity-split, so I bought a remanufactured one from a mailorder junk yard in Topeka & it went out in two weeks under the same use. While I was in Iraq, I got an opportunity to surf the web & saw that All Pro Off Road had one with a lifetime replacement warranty for $399, so when I got back I ordered one & threw it on, replaced the steering damper with a AutoZone special & I've put about 15000 miles on it without a problem. I'd recommend this product to anyone who seems to have problems with their steering gearbox.
