Woods Canyon Lake, AZ camping trip
Left Thurs after work and stayed through Saturday afternoon. It was UNBELIEVABLE how many people were up there. But we had lots of fun exploring the trails surrounding Woods Canyon Lake and Bear Canyon Lake - up the road. Not a whole lot of 4 Wheel Drive opportunities, but the scenery was spectacular and it was overall a very relaxing trip!
On the Rim...
A little unnerving...it's about a 75 foot drop to a steep rocky slope below. And I'm hanging over the edge of it.

Bear/Woods Canyon Lake(s) are a blast. We've camped Bear Canyon Lake a couple times now. I have another "secret" spot there, so let me know the next time you go and I'll tell you where it is.
