Valley of Names

Decided today to try out the roof rack and gas can I picked up on a local trail to see how it would hold up. I orginally had a shovel on t but bungie cords don't work to well. So I threw it back inside.

Valley of Names is just north of Yuma on Picacho road heading towards the Picacho wilderness area. It's a little side trip off the main dirt and in a spot or two the trail fades a little bit and splits off in other directions. Basically, all the area is about a mile or two of desert that people have arrange rocks to spell names.

Here some of the photo's:

The rack (shovel was still attached in this photo)

Some random photo's of the area:

Had to take some of my 4runner.

The basket setup held up pretty well, even at highspeeds on gravel/dirt roads and had very little wind noise at 75 on the highway. Somewhere along the well I lost one of the screws so the basket started bounce around.
