Spring Valley snow run

Got to go play in the snow once again I met up with Jean, the guy who helped me get un-stuck the last time I was out, and we headed up to Spring Valley Lake CA (here's the GPS coordinates where we stopped N40.01367 W121.39319). I got stuck just the 1 time again and he winched himself out a couple of times.

The going was great till we were heading back out. It had been raining at the lower levels making the snow turn into a big giant slushy. We picked up a couple rigs just out of Spring Valley, a Bronco II who I knew and another Toyota truck that was stuck pretty good. His truck got really beat up after the two times he got stuck while with us. The Bronco II got high centered quite a bit in the slushy stuff.

Another fun day of about 10 hours start to finish. Here's a couple pictures, more can be found here. I also have about 20 min of video that needs to be edited.

Jean's truck and mine stopped on what he told me is a huge rock. This is where the GPS coordinates were taken.

Heading back out we pulled off the road to let some others by. This is also where we met up with the Bronco II and other Toyota.

Jean winching up a hill that I drove up after he was out of the way.
