thankx,
but yea there was a few times we had the "pucker factor" but i had a good spotter, and the look on "her" face stopped me cold, which probably stopped me from flipping.

How far did you get the inclinomiter to go? Finally get it past 30 ? Anything that gets you worried must be scary as hell. So I'm glad you made it out in one piece, and your beautiful rig too!

Yeah, Ric nearly laid her down...it was close, another half second on the gas and he'd be replacing all the glass on his right side, as well as doors and mirror...It was a blast, other than the fact that my stupid tires still rubbed...oh well..And dekri, yes it was past 30, and damn near sure it was probably past 45 for a second there...he had both left tires off the ground by a good foot.

Well, sort of..we got stopped at the rock garden...i had to get back to pick up Adrian in Golden, and my truck wasn't going any further...Ric could have gone farther, but we decided to turn it around...we got a late start, so that didn't help either...My stupid tires were still rubbing, and i tried the bypass, but even that stuck me...time for a locker.

Wow that looks like a hard trail. Cool pics!

Those new tires look good ike - hopefully you can get all the rubbing issues figured out.

Bob_98SR5,
yea we had a blast. AxleIke showed us that hard part. and i had to try it. notice NO winchline ? with his help spotting, we didnt have to winch myself. that in it self was awesome.

Dekri,
yeppers, it was over a 40 a "real" pucker factor for sure.

Mojo_Risin,
yea i made it throught the rock garden, with AxleIkes help spotting, but like he said, he had to get back to town, the 3rd pic is in the rock garden, i was just glad we got to wheel..

Crux,
by far the hardest trail Ive been on, but i "loved it"

RED 85,
get your baby ready, i hear ya, i dont want to hurt her, but remember why, we moved out here,
was to go wheeling,

Good job Ric. That pic looks like your taking the rock garden by-pass. Which exactly easy either.

How come you did not just straddle the crack? That would have been the easier line.

He couldn't straddle becasue that rock to the right of his right front tire (left in the pic) has a vertical face that is over half the diameter of his tires...we tried it, but he is open in the front, and all it did was push the truck sideways, instead of climbing. we got him farther over to the right, and he was able to go up that way...Funny, but that wasn't the part he nearly tipped on, he kept all 4 down through that section

Steve, this pic shows the height a little better...with the front locked, he'd have made it no problem

Yeah, we took the bypass if you can call it that..Its only easier in the sense that the rocks are smaller, but the trees are tight, and the slope is still pretty steep..well, i should say that Ric did, i got stopped where that pic of him is, couldn't go any further...Those boulders are huge, i don't think it can be done with out 2 lockers, and some good skids..Ric did make it through though, he was just kind enough to come back down with me...
