Solo ride? yoga centered thoughts

I have Tuesday off from work and decided to go for a trail run "SOLO". I know, I know you're not suppose to go alone, but want do you do when that little voice starts calling?
I wanted to find a connector trail between two trail systems in my area so I pulled off the asphalt road and was followed by a Toyota trk, two guys got out and asked if I was lost. Honesty being my first response turned out to be the best response. They told me to follow their? road and turn right at the gate. After an hour of exploring new trails I came across a GMC trk with 4 guys in it. I was kinda worried, what had I come on to?. Turns out they were exploring too, their company had just acquired a lease to look for OIL. I told them good luck and we parted ways.
later on in the day a tree had fallen across the trail and I brought out my chain saw to cut it. When I finished a fella was standing there. I explained that I was just clearing the trail, he said "Thanks, most just drive around downed trees". We talked for a few moments and parted ways.
Later I stopped to pickup a beer box and to my surprise a baby rabbit ran out. I saw wild turkey, woodpeckers, turtles, coyote, and a snake.. so much for the SOLO run haha....

You've got some "busy" trails in your area.... that's for sure.

At least you wouldn't have had to wait to long if something had failed.
