Casey! Thanks for the invite bro.....
I couldn't have gone anyway, I'm in Detroit until Sunday. Awesome pics though. Kris and I were just out there 2 weekends ago. We plan on going there next Sunday cuz I just got a locker on my truck and I need to go break it in! Give me a ring sometime!

Looks like that 2nd Gen really got on it on the way up. I like the PS tire lifting off and spinning like crazy.
![]() Probably plenty of trails to explore out there.

Haha, yeah, that 2nd Gen is me. I definitely could use a locker, but money is a bit tight so i might just do it the redneck way and weld my front end.

I am not sure if they make one for your model, but I put a Aussie locker in the front of mine and that works really well. Under $250 for the locker itself.
![]() It's not that hard of an install... and since you plan on opening up the diff to weld anyway, you'd be 1/2 way there. Hard to tell from the pics, but looks like you have auto hubs. I think a permanent front locker could cause some strange handling and behavior on road... and maybe even in the dirt when you don't need it. Tight turns for example. A welded diff is basically a spool. The Aussie will have some give when there is no power applied. I happen to have manual hubs, so in a worst case I can get out and unlock one hub, effectively eliminating the lockers action and allow me to really make a sharp radius turn. Just some things to consider.
