My first YT trail report
Well, I've been putting a lot of money into my truck, and it's finally paying off. She's more reliable than a lot of the new vehicles I see on the trail.
Anyhow, today was some of the nicest weather we've had this year. The past few weeks' weather has been absolutely horrible - so I decided I'd have to get my truck dirty. Today was the first day I actually realized how happy I am to have done my e-locker mod. 7 Mile ORV Park - Spokane, Wa Enjoy! http://s133.photobucket.com/albums/q...view=slideshow And my videos:

Nice.
Have a forum or link/pics to the elocker conversion you did. In the end what was the dent it put in the wallet? You pull it off in the garage or have some pro help? Kick ass ride and awesome terrain. Looks hella fun |

Thanks for the compliments guys!
bcope, my e-locker install was a couple of months ago, but I didn't take any pictures of the install. But there is good news, and it doesn't involve a lizard or any car insurance. I knew jack squat about rear differentials/drivelines/lockers when I started this task. I had compiled a list of a good handfull of excellent writeups for the retrofit. There are tons of pics on their sites that show exactly where to grind the housing, what tools to use, and how to do the install. The wiring was done with a kit I got from www.inchwormgear.com (which is the same place I purchased my e-locker brand new). The reason I didn't go for a used one is because my stock ring and pinion were bad and I needed a rear diff PRONTO! I had a helluva time trying to get ahold of a used e-locker in 4.56 gears - and inchworm had it on my doorstep in 5 days. So all in all, the kit was no cheaper than the ARB - but I like the e-locker better - I think there are more advantages. Locker brand new - $925 Wiring harness plus switch kit - $80 and various tools/lots of beer and pizza for buddies. PM me if you have any more questions, I'd be glad to hook you up with some writeups or just answer any questions you might have.

Great pics/videos. I have played there too when I first got my runner. I didn't get any wheels off the ground but had great fun. There is some nasty mud there though. Good to see another inland northwester!
