Kyburz Wheeling

Wasn't sure where to post this, but 93yotaSR5 and myself went up to Kyburz and went wheeling today, figured i'd post up what videos and pictures I have for viewing purposes. Didn't do a very good job on the whole picture / video quality. my camera mount didn't hold up very well to the bumps, rocks and other things we were driving over. So what I have is very limited. but anywho, onto the pictures!

maybe like... 2 or 3 videos coming after they upload to photobucket. It would've been easier to have a "camera man" but all in all. I had a kick ass time. both trucks survived... I banged my bumper up after I just fixed it... rofl oh well. it looks normal still. just needs new paint and a facelift again

ehh matt... you have a nice paint job on your truck... the brush will hella scratch it up... and theres no way to avoid it. You can be the camera man and take pictures if ya want. lol I'd be worried about jacking your truck up. Brandon would have a good time though. Even andy would have fun just being a passenger... It was a pretty cool adventure though. not gonna lie.

Eh, like I said. the pictures are pretty limited. the video is really the MOST action I have. I couldn't take pictures unless we were sitting still. and we only chilled for maybe 30 minutes to shoot some pumpkins... lmao I have a video of that as well, if ya'll are interested. A camera man needs to come with us next time. I had a window camera mount, but like i said, every little rock, bump, tree, log, whatever made it bounce and made a pretty ugly video

Didn't work out as well as I thought it was going to. the video bounced around way too much. its not like prairie city, matt. Were constantly on the move down a trail. none of that get out, take a picture, and still be able to wheel and what not. so you'd have to take pictures from inside the truck. or you can jump in the bed of 93yotaSR5's truck lmao... that'd be interesting.

lol you cant do that though... its not a "smooth" trail... theres rock, dips, logs, hills, boulders, trees, brush... stuff will knock it over and what not. someone has to hold the camera somehow... lol

too bad all of the good wheeling was when it got dark. next time we'll know where to go, and we can get some action shots so wolfrunner will stop crying.

yeah dude, where we went when it was dark was hella fun. it was pretty sick how we kinda explored... bit more exciting to not know what to expect... that fire was hella freaky though. I didn't know how to turn on the night vision hahaha. I'll post up the video of him shooting the pumpkins... hold up.

I have one more video, but not worth watching... its pitch black. basically what took place is we were wheeling in pitch black and found a fire off to the right... stopped to check it out, 93yotaSR5 grabbed the shotgun and the flash light. and I grabbed the camera... but couldn't figure out how to get it into night vision. heh.

it was well worth the drive. didnt see one person on the trail. saw one person on silverfork road on the way up and that was it. next time i will have a map so we can actually know where we are going. i need to check and probably replace the cv on my drivers side now though maybe in a few weeks we can get another group going, and if were brave enough camp at that area where the pumpkins got murdered.

yeah dude, where you blasted the pumpkins was a perfect camping area. and it was right down the road from the fun trails. I already have two people that wanna go, but aren't bringing cars. i'll talk to brandon about bringing his truck. and that'll be 3. maybe we can get more people from YT to come. Its about an hour and 15 minutes away. it wasn't TOO bad on gas either, since its all freeway. i think i used almost a quarter tank... then we wheeled and drove around for 6 hours... by the time we left we were both at half a tank. but anyway, I had a kick ass time... damn worth it.

as far as yours CVs. i'd just replace both of them. no harm can come from it. you have manual hubs now too so you dont have to worry about the ADDs wearing them out. We need to hit up that junkyard so I can grab a pair of Manuals myself... its disturbing how easy and cheap the swap is... lol
