Hoover Ponds

"The Ponds" as it is know to us locals, has been a popular spot for many years here in southern Oregon. It has never been very challenging. Just some semi-deep water holes and some mud.
Our County parks dept. did a revamping of it though, and added a rock crawling course as well as better mudding.
Checked it out today, and was glad to see the changes.
Part of the Crawlin course

Some other Areas too.

Ive gotten stuck there a few times in the deep holes there isnt alot to hook your winch to other than that its kinda fun I prefer Prospect, Applegate, and Elderberrys Trails where your out in the woods not right in town. But i do agree that "the ponds" have gotten better
