Thumbs up Holcomb Creek Trail

I took a day trip to Big Bear Sunday & had a great time on Holcomb. Good weather, good friends & good wheelin'. It was nice to get a break from the desert heat. Only ran into a few Jeepers, so we had the trail to ourselves. The scenery was great, as the fires a couple of years ago didn't get to that side of BB. The pics are here: http://community.webshots.com/user/JP4Crawler.

My brother is in the XJ, pops in the JGC & me in my 4R. Looks like some of the Yota guys will be up there next month for the video shoot, you'll enjoy.

Jason

Thanks. Of course, it's a work in progress, but since the lift I can at least enjoy some of the more challenging trails. A couple more pics too, I just figured out how to cut & paste.

Cool. I don't get to see very many people wheeling 4th gens. Although, I'm often tempted to take Mom's out whenever I visit.

The 4th gens have all the right stuff, the clearance is the most limiting factor IMO, especially if you like crawling on the rocks, as I do. They really shine climbing hills. There's only a few guys really wheelin' their 4th's, but that # seams to be on the rise.

Check out this thread. It's part of the Yotatech Tour "06, So Cal section. They plan on going to Big Bear, but not sure which trails they'll run.
