Hey Scuba that looks like fun. Great pics.

I didn't even know there were trails like that in Big Bear. I've only been there in the snow. I always pictured it green and lush with lots of pine trees.

I've got to get out there once I get my truck smogged.

Is that trail open to the public? Do you need to get a day pass from the Discovery Center to go out there?

Yes, Very open to the public.

You only need an adventure pass in any of the forests, big bear, clevland, los padres, And angeles national. If you stop and recreate, like eat or something, So if I were you I would pick one up..

But every time I've been out ive never seen a ranger or seen someone being sited..

The "other" forest you couldn't remember, Scooobs, was Angeles National forest.

Looks like it was a good run Scuba. You have to come up on the weekend of the 4th. No questions asked, you WILL be there. Telling you about the bbq and wheeling didnt work, hmmm, how about a chp escort through the woods, no adventure pass required! C'mon! I wont take no for answer!
