There is a little note beside each pic telling what trail it is.

nice pics. truck looks good, and the trail looks like fun.

just out of curiosity, what are the shackle pics for? did you have carnage, or was/is your shackle angle just crappy?

Yeah I had a problem with the stock shackles inverting after I put on my Alcan springs and Roger Brown's custom 5 inch shackles took care of the problem. There was another member having the same problem and he ask me for some pics of them.

hmm - looks like you got a look of what longwater looks like after the haymen fire - That trail is actually still closed - but some people have been tearing down the signs... I'm sure you had no way of knowing... here's some more info...

No wonder there was hardly anyone else on it. I only ran into 2 other people on the whole trail, one motorcycle and a ATV. Hacket had a big berm of dirt to block it off along with closed signs, but Longwater looked open and no closed signs. I would have been really pissed if I hadn't got to do Longwater too. I will call the FS in the future about trails BEFORE I drive 500 miles to run them. I won't be bringing my $$$ back to the Colo. Springs area unless or until they open them back up. Most of the other trails I know about in the area were a disappointment. The biggest challange on some was how to keep my dashboard being rattled apart by the washboard roads. If there hadn't been a rock slide on Mt Baldy and the signs had been up on Longwater the trip would have been a total waste. I don't know where Metberry is though and I'm sure there are other trails I don't know about.
