Arizona Dictionary, Martinez Edition I.

Here are some more pics. Hope you like them. I will post more Martinez and then some Woodpecker before it is all done.

TIGHT

SILLY

WHEELIE Yeah, only a little one, but Jeff mashed the gas after this and it was a lot of fun.

CHEESE

ROCK GARDEN There was some confusion on this definition before, but I assure you this is a rock garden instead of a gravel bed or place with rocks.

And some more...

MARMOT Here I thought it would be too dry and too low for this critter, but we saw him. Heck, I followed him all the way down from Colorado.

HUNG But only for a little bit. A back and fill got him through without the strap.

SPANK Steve was the only one to clean Yellowbelly again. Jeff and Casey did it with some front loading and the Cheesemobile got owned.

TRAVEL This is one of the best IFS travel shots I have ever seen.

Just for old times sake. It'll be laying on the floor before you know it. I wanted to cut it off today. I'm so ready for this.

No way I'll make it to March. It will be sooner.

What is it, anytime after the 13th?

The sooner you do it, the more likely it is I can come help.

The last of the stuff should be here by Wed, then I shoot the TIG stuff off to Stubbs, he fires it back and I'm ready to rock Feb. 1 or after.

The new plan is for me to drop the IFS, do all the cutting and grinding and you guys come and help with instaling all the new stuff.

I have to go to Harbor Freight and get 4 of those bigh huge jackstands.

What did you tell me? That I would streight axle convert it?

I was not going to until I met the Nissan guys. They really turned me onto some new ways of thinking.

Just wait Chris, there are some better ones from the Wire. I hope to find and post as many as possible to read when we get that crap off the truck.

Steve has proven competent at wheeling IFS and has no reason to keep it. His truck is reliable as it sits and soon there will be no worry of joint destruction.

Hey Steve
Thanks for posting one of your flex shots w/the new setup you're running.

I was about to start searching once BigFlygt called that shot "one of the best IFS shot he has ever seen"

I would hope yours would also be "one of the best", shoot I'll post one of mine from last week with the "unflexable" SAWs- looks about the same as Jeff's

I also always said that if I ever broke and axle, it was history. I broke an axle.

Off-road zen may only be achieved when in a white Toyota. Until the color is right, contentment with mediocracy must be endured.

Considering I was at both physical limits.....

They are either the same or I have more. Probably the same though.

But really who cares. You IFS weenies can fight it out, I'm moving on.

IFS weenies......Ahem.

Its takes real skill to wheel a product that is not quite up to the task, and make it out unbroken. Unfortunatly, I'm not quite there yet....My foot is still heavy on the throttle.

I'm still a weenie too for a few more weeks. The front leafs came today.

They look really nice. Even nicer than the Old Man Emu on the FJ-62.

"SPANK Steve was the only one to clean Yellowbelly again. Jeff and Casey did it with some front loading and the Cheesemobile got owned."

The Marmot didn't clean Yellowbelly? I guess I don't feel so bad now. Describe the "front loading" a little more. Does that mean a gentle strap?

Now that Steve will have the solid axle, I'm waiting to see the video of him spanking the Whale Rock.

Yes, I certainly look forward to that. Allthough it take a lot of skill and nerves to execute. His solid axle won't help that.
