They are a 6.75" speaker with an approximate dept of 2.5". What can I do to get those speakers back there? Also, what is that loovered thing in the rear on the left hand side of the truck? Is this some kind of HVAC vent? I am looking at mounting my amp back there and was just curious to know what it is. I have a 10" sony xplod. I want it to be about 1 cubic foot for volume. I was going to go between the wheelwells right behind the rear seat, but that might be just in the way. if anyone has any ideas on a box for the side of the rear or any other good ideas for a good box design i would appreciate it:) or just say what you have done... oh and pictures are always awesome too! thanks a lot

Any idea what could be happening to cause this and could the on sub be blown possibly?

I have 2 Pioneer Premier TS-SW2501S4 subs in custom boxes that fit behind the 2001-2004 Tacoma Double Cab back seats. These babies are pretty much brand spankin new. They are not even close to being broken it yet. They RMS at 300W each and they hit pretty darn hard together. I was able to fit these behind those seats and you all know how hard that is with the limited space! Just got to do some minor work to make them fit all the way in. Looking for $150 each OBO. I also got the amp if you want it. It is an Infinity 1600a mono amp. It come with a bass/gain dial. And if you dont know how to wire it up to make it work I could tell you. I see these flpdown units where the DVD goes right into them, and have their own speakers as well. I assume the sound is horrible.

I'd like a large flipdown monitor that can play the sound off the stock head unit and speakers.

I purchased my 96 SR5 4Runner without a head unit in it and I have no idea if the wiring is still even there. I know that I will probably need an antenna because it's gone with the fiberglass fenders on. Can anyone tell me what I'm looking for under the dash? Best I can tell this did have a decent stereo in it before it got stolen according to the prev owner. Well this post ended up being very long with really only one true question so without further adew. I read on a post here somewhere that some 4runners come with a 4in enclosure and some don't?
I have the standard 4in spots on the bottom dash but nothing behind the speaker. Can I try maybe just a junkyard for this part? I have some decent kicker comp's in there now.

Pioneer Electronics has recently released its first iPhone® application, AVIC FEEDS App. The app was created for Pioneer's new AVIC-U310BT and AVIC-Z110BT in-dash navigation systems. Pioneer's AVIC FEEDS App allows iPhone owners to find points of interest (POI) or search for destinations ahead of time on their phone and easily upload them via Bluetooth® to their Pioneer navigation systems. You no longer have to manually enter address information into your Pioneer unit.

Ways to Navigate:
- POI Search - Points of interest searched through Pioneer's AVIC FEEDS App can be selected by simply choosing the pin drop of the desired location
- Take a Photo - Photos taken on an iPhone that are geotagged with geographical metadata such as location coordinates can be saved for future use as a POI
- Saved Photos - Geotagged photos sent to users or photos from the internet can be used as POIs
