Rear Axle Seals Replaced On Toyota's Nickle- 2002 4 Runner

Just thought I would share a coustomer service experience I recently had. My 2002 Toyota 4 Runner had to have both axle seals replaced ,for the second time, at 105k miles. The dealer charged me $775 to replace the axle seals and also they had to fix the emergency brake. This is the second time in this truck's life where this has been done. The last time was at 66k miles on replacing axle seals (which Toyota covered then and I was out of warranty by 6k miles). The service advisor at the dealership did not offer to call Toyota Corporate on this issue....so, I did. Toyota corporate was excellent. The representative looked up al of my service on my 4 Runner since I bought it new and said that they will pay for everything and to fax them the bill and they will send me a check! This is why I drive a Toyota! Excellent customer service even at 105k miles and over seven years old for this 4 Runner. Just wanted to share this story.
